Enterprise “Repair and engineering works” was established in 1944 and was subordinated to the trust “Khreschatykbud”. Since that time the enterprise achieved considerable productive potential. In 1975 a shop of metal constructions was set in operation. In 1979 a section of small-scale mechanization devices of construction work was set in operation. In 1981 a shop of metal forms and equipment was set in operation. In 1995 the enterprise was reorganized in OJSC “Experimental mechanical works”. In 1997 the plant joined OJSC “Rassvet” to render services not only to construction enterprises but also to energy complex enterprises (the plant’s production successfully passed the tests on building sites of energy complex of Kiev region). Today the enterprise produces hundreds items of production for construction and energy.
